Mount Hermon security guard notice a Caucasian male hanging out behind Field House building at 17 Conference Dr, at approximately 9 pm. Person identified as Brandon Dean Zimmerman, 20 MaCleod Way, Scotts Valley, DOB 10-14-92, Ht 6', wt 141, brn hair, hazel eyes. Was not a guest of the conference center or resident of Mount Hermon. When asked what he was doing he said waiting for a friend to pick him up. This was not logical because he was hiding behind the building in the dark? He was asked to leave the property, and did so heading down Conference drive toward Felton. Next morning Mount Hermon staff found vending machine robbed and vandalized.

At 9:45 pm security guard noticed Caucasian male wearing blue hooded sweat shirt and faded blue jeans hanging out by the Mount Hermon post office. He was on a white "10 speed" type bicycle. He was looking across the street at the book store area for about 10 minutes. Person was identified as Jerod Miles Barr, 10330 Vera Ave, Felton. CDL#D1410508, DOB 5-24-84. Jerod was not a conference guest or a resident of Mount Hermon. He said he was in Mount Hermon to visit a friend, but would not give friends name or address. He was asked to leave and did so heading on Conference Dr towards Felton.
At 10:45 pm security guard noticed two Caucasian males sitting in a small white pickup truck Lic# 6K51716 parked on Conference Drive above the Field House building at 17 Conference Drive. Guard witnessed occupants smoking marijuana in the truck. Driver claimed he did not have drivers license, but gave his name as David Lacobe. Passenger was David Adam Prucha, 230 Rancho Rio Rd, Ben Lomond, CDL# D8542666, DOB 10-08-86. They were asked to leave and did so without incident.

At 10:15 pm Mount Hermon guests notice two Caucasian males, late 20's early 30's, on bikes riding to the area in front of the Mount Hermon bookstore and carefully placed three small boxes on the rock wall across from the book store. Each box contained a small ceramic clown figure. The to males left after the boxes were placed. Sheriff Deputies were called to the scene as a precaution.
If you see criminally suspicious behavior or activities in the Mount Hermon community, please report them to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department.
